A plant that looks like a specimen straight out of the 1986 film "Little Shop of Horrors" is bringing delight to visitors at the U.S. Botanic Garden today as it begins to bloom and release its famed rotten stench.
For weeks, tourists have been flocking to the U.S. Botanical Garden to take selfies with the giant plant, but today is the first time visitors will get a whiff of the corpse flower.

The Amorphoplallus titanium, or corpse flower, can grow up to 12 feet tall, and once its petals unfurl, the flower releases a scent that's been described as "rotten meat with hints of garlic" and a "steaming dumpster."
While the odor might repulse most humans, the smell actually attracts bugs, which then serve as pollinators for the plant.
Special conditions are required for the corpse flower to bloom and visitors to have the rare olfactory experience. This is definitely the most original house I've seen with the housing market making a serious recovery, more and more Americans are looking to sell. So to guide us through the do's and don'ts, we went to an expert from bravo's million dollar listing. This is, as we like to say in real estate, unique. Or one of a kind. This is definitely one of a kind. Wow. This is like a dungeon room with beds in it. At a 1 to 10, this is probably one of the worst houses I've ever seen. He's used to selling red hot luxury properties like this $5.5 million pad in the Hollywood hills. Check out this view. This view in itself is worth $2 million. Reporter: But he says any house can fall victim into overly specific design details. And that can spell doom when it comes time to r esell. I see mistakes made in houses built all day long. It looks like the freaking love boat in here. This thing is straight out of the '80s. This is a tough sell, man. You talk about a unique buyer. How many people do you know are looking for a ship? The more specific your house is, the more difficult to sell your house. Indiana house. Reporter: Anna spends her day poring over real estate listings, looking for the standouts. What's hideous about this one? It's got a rotunda with pink metallic hues. Oh, wow. This is the Las Vegas one. It's sort of as if you wouldn't need to leave your own home in order to get the vibe you would at the, you know, the venetian. Just put a roulette wheel right there. Right behind the bar, I think. Reporter: Back at our baffling Indianapolis mega mansion -- I love that there's railings all around this, but there's no railings going up the stairs. Great Lites coming through on the place. Reporter: Even the listing agent is confused by some of the rooms. Here you have your side room. Your salon. I'm not real sure what that room is used for. I think it just depends on the individual person and what they want to use the room for. Reporter: This isn't available anywhere else. This is the only place where you can get this. So I have to imagine that whoever is going to come here and buy this is a little bit eccentric, has some money and wants to live in Indianapolis. And you have to put all of those things together in order to make it work. But this was all part of a 20-year construction project taken on by the estate's original owner. At times. Yes. It's incredible. Reporter: If you're rich enough to build a mansion like this -- oh, cool. Maybe you're not too worried about resale value. Imagine you just bought this house. But for the rest of us -- For most of the people in this country, their house is their biggest investment in their life. You want to make sure that investment is going to make you money when you sell that house. Reporter: Rule number one -- keep it simple. You've got to keep a house one particular style. If you're going modern, stick to it the whole way through the house. Rule number two, landscaping is key. You've got to work on the curb appeal. The first thing y ou see is rock frontage of extra rocks all over the land. It's horrible. Reporter: Rule number three -- don't make it personal. Make it as unspecific as possible. Neutral color, take out all the personal stuff throughout the house except the house in general is personal. So at that point, I don't know, maybe take a bulldozer to it. Reporter: This isn't going to be easy to sell. Well, I think there's challenges for sure. Reporter: Challenges. That's putting it lightly. Well, I think as a realtor, though, you know, do you always want the easily necessarily sale? Or do you want to maybe work a little harder and have the challenges of something like this. A group of students in London has developed electrically conductive paint
The paint allows wiring to be applied to paper, metal and even textiles

London (CNN) -- Imagine if you could paint a working light switch directly onto your wall, without any need for sockets, cables or wiring.
A group of students from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London has made that possible by creating electrically conductive paint.
The paint acts as a form of liquid wiring. Unlike conventional wires, it can be applied to almost any surface, including paper, plastic, metal and even fabric.
The product has the appearance and con sistency of runny marmite, but dries quickly when exposed to the air. Its inventors, RCA graduates Isabel Lizardi, Matt Johnson, Bibi Nelson and Becky Pilditch, call their creation "Bare Paint." While they don't claim to be the first group to have invented a conductive ink, they are pioneering new ways it can be used.

"We started this project Electrician Service in earnest in 2009," says Matt Johnson. "We were originally interested in trying to apply electronics to the skin ... so we arrived at this idea of applying them as a coating and eventually we got this idea of a conductive paint."
The team began by investigating how electronics were being used in the body.
"In 2008 -- and probably still today -- there was a lot of work around electronic textiles," says Johnson. "And though we really liked the idea of having a jumper (a piece of clothing) that has some intelligence in it, we didn't like that it was so bulky and that once you took it off the functionality disappeared."
Around the same time there was a lot of "extreme work" being done by people who were injecting electronics beneath the skin. For their final project, the RCA students began work on making something less intrusive, looking for a substance that could be painted onto the body. Eventually, says Johnson, "that idea transformed into the material http://www.thefreedictionary.com/electrician we have now, which is very safe though it's not specifically intended for the body anymore."

After graduating from college, the team collaborated on a video for DJ and producer Calvin Harris. The resulting project was the "Humanthesizer," a performance which literally brought the paint to life, with dancers whose movements triggered audio loops from Harris's song "Re ady for the Weekend."

"Making a new material was a bit daunting for four designers," says Johnson. The team's solution was not to return to school to study chemistry for four years. Instead, they simply went on Wikipedia. According to Johnson, the online encyclopedia provided them with almost everything they needed to know about crafting conductive materials.
Once the paint's formula was finalized, co-creator Isabel Lizardi says the team began to consider how it might be applied to real-world products. The first thing they launched was the paint in its raw form, which they made available to other garden-shed inventors.
Today, Bare Paint jars and pens are sold on the Internet and stocked by Radio Shack electronics stores across the United States. Projects being done by Bare Paint users include everything from interactive color wh eels to homemade electric toys.
Johnson says that conductive paint opens up an enormous range of creative opportunities. As conductive paint becomes increasingly common, we can look forward to a future where billboards talk back, walls are interactive, and greeting cards come to life in our very hands.
"Devices no longer have to look high tech to be high tech," Johnson says. "Our goal is to put interactivity onto objects you don't expect."
A 2-year-old girl, named Ishneed Kaur, was bitten by a rattlesnake, June 9, 2015, while playing in her backyard in Pittsburg, California. She had to be airlifted to Children's Hospital in Oakland for immediate treatment.
